LAZY LASAGNA 
1 lb. hamburger, ground turkey or sausage
1 (15 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1 (4 oz.) jar mushroom pieces, drained
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
1/8 tbsp. garlic powder
9 lasagna noodles
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown meat and drain. Add sauce and mushrooms to skillet. In bowl, beat eggs slightly and add Parmesan and cottage cheese, parsley, and garlic powder. Mix. In 12" x 7 1/2" baking dish place 3 uncooked lasagna noodles; top with 1 cup of meat mixture. Spoon 1/2 of cheese mixture on next; top with 1/2 of shredded cheese. Layer on 3 more uncooked noodles, 1 cup more of meat mixture and remaining cheese mixture. Top with remaining noodles and meat mixture. Pour 3/4 cup hot water into dish; cover tightly with foil and bake 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven, top with remaining shredded cheese and let stand 5 to 10 minutes. Cut and serve. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
