2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening (Crisco)
4 eggs
4 tbsp. cocoa (I like adding 1 more tbsp. for taste)
1 tsp vanilla (I like to add another tsp. for taste)
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix sugar, eggs and shortening together. Then add cocoa and vanilla. Mix together until no dry ingredients can be seen. Then add flour, little by little.

Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until done (depends on your oven). I personally enjoy it not as done and gooey!! Serve HOT (it's the BEST) and enjoy a yummy dessert and many compliments.
