RHUBARB MERINGUE DESSERT 
1/2 lb. butter, soft
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar

Mix together and pat in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

SECOND LAYER:

5 c. cut up rhubarb
6 egg yolks
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. cream

Mix together and bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees until centers are done, not wiggly.

THIRD LAYER:

6 egg whites
12 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 2 tablespoons at a time. Add vanilla and salt. Spoon on top of baked filling. Can sprinkle with nuts or coconut. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes (3-4 hours to cool down so can eat).

Don't have to wait for each layer to cool down in between - can put on layers when hot.
