Cake: 1 pkg. butter recipe cake mix 4 eggs 1 c. sour cream 1/3 c. oil 1/4 c. water 1/4 c. white sugar Glaze: small amount of microwaved frosting or 1 c. powdered sugar with 2 tbsp. milk Streusel Filling: 2 tbsp. dry cake mix 2 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. chopped pecans Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan (or Bundt pan). Combine Streusel Filling: Cake mix, sugar and cinnamon. Mix well. Add pecans and stir. Set aside. Combine ingredients for cake. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Pour two-thirds of batter into pan. Sprinkle Streusel Filling. Spoon remaining batter evenly over filling. Bake at 375°F for 45 to 55 minutes. Cool 25 minutes. Then invert on to serving plate. Cool completely. Top with glaze. Drizzle over cake. |
