SNOWBALLS 
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (5 3/4 oz.) pkg. chocolate Kisses
Confectioners' sugar

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add sifted flour and nuts. Chill dough until it's easily handled. Shape 1 tablespoon of dough around a chocolate candy and roll to make ball. Cover candy completely. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 12 minutes or until set, not brown. Cool slightly. While still warm, roll in confectioners' sugar. Cool.
