WILD RICE WITH FILBERTS 
1 1/2 c. uncooked wild rice
1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 c. chopped filberts
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. brandy
Salt & pepper to taste

Cook wild rice according to directions. Meanwhile break apart sausage in frying pan and cook until browned. Drain off grease. Add chopped filberts and onions to sausage. Cook until onions are soft. Add brandy and cook rapidly, stirring for about 2 minutes. Mix with cooked wild rice. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serves 4 to 6.
