MOM'S PORK CHOPS WITH RICE 
4 pork chops
Oil
3-4 thinly sliced onions
3/4 c. long cooking rice
1 1/2 c. water

Brown 4 pork chops in lightly oiled large skillet. Remove the chops to a plate. Re-oil pan and add onions. Cook until golden but not brown. Add rice and water to onions and stir. Cover rice with pork chops, cover pan and cook about 20 minutes, until rice is done. This is home food, good for the soul.
