NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST 
3 c. flour
1 1/4 c. shortening, cut into flour

Set aside.

1 egg
6 tbsp. ICE COLD water
Skimp of salt (dash)
1 tsp. vinegar

Mix together the egg, ICE COLD water, salt and vinegar with a wire whip. Add it to the flour/shortening mixture little by little. IF it's still too moist after working it together with hands, add small amounts of flour until soft and pliable but not "wet" feeling. Divide into 4 balls each = 1 crust. Can wrap and freeze any balls you don't need right away or wrap and refrigerate for next days use.
