SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE 
1 c. malt vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. tomato paste
Cornstarch
Water

Combine vinegar, sugar, salt, juices and tomato paste in a saucepan; bring to a boil, simmer for 10 minutes. Mix water and cornstarch for thickening. Add to ingredients in saucepan. Sauce should be the consistency of thick ketchup.

Keep this sauce in a large mouth jar, covered loosely, to prevent anything from falling in. Do not cover tightly because acid gasses will accumulate inside the jar. Do not put in refrigerator because mold will form. Keep in cool, dry place and it will keep for months.
