PINEAPPLE-CHERRY UPSIDE DOWN

1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
2 cans (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
1 pkg. (18.25 oz.) white cake mix
3/4 c. butter, melted
3/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Combine cherry filling with well drained pineapple and spread over the bottom of an ungreased 9x13x2 inch baking dish.

Distribute dry cake mix evenly over fruit blend, then drizzle entire dish with melted butter.

Finally, sprinkle chopped walnuts or pecans on top and bake in a 350 degree oven for 55 to 60 minutes or until golden brown.
