NOODLE BEEF BAKE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 c. water
Salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. basil
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 (8 oz.) pkg. wide noodles, cooked and drained
1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

In skillet brown beef with onion; pour off fat. Stir in tomato paste, water, 1 teaspoon salt, oregano, basil, pepper, and garlic. Simmer 10 minutes. Gently mix cooked noodles, cottage cheese, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. In 2 quart baking dish alternate layers of noodles and meat sauce, beginning with noodles and ending with meat sauce. Sprinkle with Mozzarella. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Serves 6.
