3 tbsp. butter
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
4 to 6 potatoes

Wash and dry potatoes. Slice into rounds, then into strips; dice strips. Melt butter and combine with soup mix. Add potatoes and stir to coat. Pour potatoes into baking pan. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees or microwave on high 20 minutes turning 1/4 turn every 5 minutes.
