CROWN JEWEL DESSERT | |
1 pkg. 3 of each orange, cherry, and lime Jello 3 c. boiling water 2 c. cold water 1 c. pineapple juice 1/4 c. sugar 1 pkg. 3 oz. lemon Jello 1 lg. container Cool Whip (or 2 c. whipping cream or Dream Whip 2 env.) Prepare 3 flavors of Jello separately using 1 cup boiling water and 1/2 cup cold for each. Pour each into 8 inch square pans. Chill until firm or overnight. Then mix pineapple juice and sugar. Heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Dissolve lemon Jello in hot juice and add 1/2 cup cold water. Chill until slightly thickened. Cut the firm Jello into cubes. Fold Cool Whip into lemon jello. Add cubes. Pour into mold. Chill overnight. To cube Jello, use sharp knife which has been dipped into hot water. Remove cubes with spatula. Can also use as pie with cracker crust. |
