SNICKERDOODLES 
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. shortening
2 eggs

Sift together the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Combine that mixture with the shortening, sugar and eggs. Form each cookie into a small ball. Roll it in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon (mix to suit your own taste). Bake 10 minutes.
