2 c. macaroni
1 stick butter
1/2 c. milk
8 oz. grated mild cheese
1 egg
Salt and pepper

Cook macaroni until done. Drain, pour half of macaroni into a 9x12 inch pan. Salt and pepper and put slices of butter and cheese. Repeat with top layer. Beat egg and milk together. Pour over pie and bake at 450 degrees until brown on top.
