GRANDPA'S BARBECUED RIBS 
3 lb. ribs or back bones
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. minced onion
1 c. tomato puree
3/4 c. water
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Dash of ground cloves

RIBS: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Brown the ribs in the oven. Add 1/2 cup water and 1 teaspoon salt. Cover and bake for 20 minutes.

SAUCE: In a saucepan, mix together the onion, tomato puree, 3/4 cup water, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon salt, paprika, chili powder, pepper, cinnamon, and cloves. Bring to boil. Pour sauce over the ribs and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
