NEW MEXICAN PINTO BEANS,

This recipe is easy and yummy: 1/2 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. garlic powder (or fresh garlic, pressed) 1 tsp. powdered chicken bouillon 1 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. red chile powder 1 chopped onion 6 slices bacon chopped or 1 c. chopped ham

Pinto beans picked clean by hand for dirt and pebbles, then washed in a colander.

1. Place ingredients in crock pot on low. Cook overnight.

2. Adjust seasoning (more salt or garlic) the next day. Serve with chicken and chile enchilada casserole.
