STEWED FRUIT IN WINE & CINNAMON 
1 glass of red wine
4 lumps sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
Apples, pears, peaches, apricots, cut into pieces

(If you don't like mixed fruit, use only one kind.) Put everything in a large casserole with a thick bottom, let it simmer for about 20 minutes. Spoon into cups and let it chill.
