BANANA SALAD 
1 gallon cottage cheese
2 qts. canned pineapple tidbits, drained
2 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped
Maraschino cherries, cut in half
32 - 40 bananas, split lengthwise

Mix cottage cheese, drained pineapple, coarsely chopped walnuts and add to 1/2 amount of cherries. Peel and split bananas. Arrange with split side up on lettuce. Top with rounded spoonful of cheese mixture. Top with 1/2 cherry. Serve with mayonnaise on the side.
