CHICKEN KIEV - COUNTRY STYLE 
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 c. white wine or apple juice
1/4 c. parsley
2 chicken breasts, split

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter in saucepan. On wax paper, combine bread crumbs, cheese, basil, oregano, garlic salt, and salt. Dip chicken in melted butter, then roll in crumbs. Place, skin side up, in ungreased 9 inch square baking dish. Bake 50-60 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile, add wine or juice, onion, and parsley to remaining melted butter (about 1/2 cup). When chicken is golden brown, pour butter over sauce mixture around and over chicken. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes more or just until sauce is hot. Serve with sauce spooned over chicken. Serves 4.
