NO-WEEP MERINGUE 
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. cornstarch
6 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix water and cornstarch together; cook until thick. Cool, then add sugar and vanilla. Beat 3 egg whites until foamy. Gradually add the above cooled mixture as you beat. Beat until it stands in peaks. Spread on pie. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until brown.
