MICROWAVE APPLE PIE
Unbaked double crust pie shell (Pillsbury All Ready tastes
homemade)
7 to 9 med. cooking apples
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. butter

Prepare pastry. Place one crust in bottom of 9 inch glass pie plate. Pare, core, and slice apples (should make about 6 cups) and put in a large bowl. Add sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well. Pour apple mixture into unbaked shell. Dot apple mixture with butter. Fit remaining crust over apples. Seal and flute edges; cut slits in top crust. Cook on high for 10 minutes. While pie is cooking, preheat conventional oven to 450 degrees, when apples are tender, bake pie in oven for 10 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
