BUDGET BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 1/2 - 2 lb. round steak
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 onion, sliced
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 c. beef bouillon
1 tbsp. catsup
1/4 lb. fresh sliced mushrooms
1/3 c. flour
1 c. sour cream

Cut steak into 1/4" strips. Coat with salt and pepper. Drop into bottom of crock pot with onion. Mix garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon and catsup. Pour over meat. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until tender. Turn control to high. Add mushrooms. Dissolve flour in a small amount of water. Add to meat mixture, stirring until blended. Cook on high for 15 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in sour cream; turn off heat. Serve with rice or noodles.

Made this today, we all loved it. Only changes were using the whole 8 oz pack of mushrooms and decreasing the sour cream by about half (all I had on hand...) Oh, and added a little parsley at the end. I usually use strip or sirloin, stock and wine. What a waste, this version tasted better!
