CUCUMBER SALAD 
3 c. cucumbers, peeled & sliced
1 lg. onion, diced
1/4 c. chopped, fresh dill or 2 tbsp. dill weed
1/2 to 1 c. sour cream
Salt

Place sliced cucumbers in a large bowl with onions. Sprinkle generously with salt. Mix well. Let stand for several hours, draining water from cucumbers occasionally. Drain well. Pat dry with paper towels. Stir dill into sour cream. Just before serving, mix sour cream with cucumbers.
