COCONUT CLOUD BROWNIES 
2/3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 lg. eggs, beaten slightly
1/3 c. unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1 1/2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
1/3 c. sweetened grated coconut
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl and stir in eggs and butter. Transfer 2/3 of batter to another bowl, add the chocolate to it, combining the batter well, and turn batter into a buttered 8 inch square baking pan.

Stir the coconut and almond extract into the remaining 1/3 batter, spoon the batter into a pattern over the chocolate batter, and bake the mixture at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until coconut is light golden. Let dessert cool in the pan on a rack and cut into 2 inch squares.
