ABBY'S PECAN PIE 
1 c. white corn syrup
1 c. dark brown sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
1 heaping c. pecans
1/3 c. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 whole eggs

Mix syrup, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla. Add slightly beaten eggs. Pour into a 9 inch unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle pecans over filling. Bake in 350 degree oven for approximately 45 minutes. Walnuts may be substituted for the pecans.
