WILD RICE STUFFING | |
1 c. washed wild rice 1/4 c. butter 1 1/2 c. chicken broth 1 tsp. salt 6 chopped green onions 1 c. chopped celery 1/2 c. chopped toasted almonds 1 c. sliced mushrooms 1/2 tsp. marjoram 1/8 tsp. nutmeg Soak rice in hot water to cover for 1 hour. Drain; dry on paper towels. Saute in butter until golden. Add broth, salt; cover tightly and simmer until tender, about 25 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Stuffs 4 game hens. |
