GOOSEBERRY FOOL 
1 c. drained gooseberries
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. gooseberry juice

Heat until sugar is dissolved.

Mix: 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. milk 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder

Pour into 8x8 pan. Pour gooseberry mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
