CHERRY COBBLER 
2 c. water packed cherries, drain and save juice
1/4 tsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. arrowroot powder
2/3 c. juice from cherries
1/2 c. flour, sifted
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
12 sugar substitutes

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Using shallow pan, make a layer of drained fruit. Combine lemon juice, almond extract, arrowroot powder, and drained fruit juice, 9 sugar substitutes. Mix well. Pour over fruit. Mix flour, salt, and baking powder, cutting in butter.

In a small bowl mix egg, milk, and 3 sugar substitutes. Stir into dry ingredients. Mix well and spoon onto fruit. Bake until brown, 25-30 minutes. Serve.
