SWEDISH DELIGHT DESSERT | |
1 qt. milk 1 c. sugar 3 eggs, separate 1 tsp. vanilla 2 env. Knox gelatin 3 tbsp. cold water 1/2 pt. whipped cream 1 med. sponge cake Mix milk, sugar and egg yolks in double boiler. Boil 15 minutes and add vanilla. Dissolve gelatin in cold water. Combine mixtures. When cool and partly jelled add 3 beaten egg whites and whipped cream. Cut cake in thin slices. Alternate cake and custard. Set. Top with spoonful of Wilderness cherries and cream. |
