CHILI 
4 slices bacon, chopped
1 lb. ground round
1 lb. Italian sausage
2 c. onions, chopped
2 sm. green peppers, minced
4 tbsp. brown sugar
2 qt. tomato juice
2 (15 oz.) cans red kidney beans
2 c. water
2 (4 oz.) cans mushroom parts
4 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. flour
1 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. cayenne hot sauce

Fry bacon in saucepan. Stir in meat and brown lightly. Pour off fat. Sprinkle on the flour. Cook 5 minutes. Add onions and green pepper; cook until some what soft over medium heat. Add brown sugar. Add tomato juice. Add beans (drain first) water and mushrooms (drain first).
