SWISS STEAK 
8 pieces sirloin steak, cubed
3/4 c. ketchup (or more)
1 lg. Spanish onion
1 green pepper
1 red sweet pepper
1 clove garlic
Salt & pepper

Cook steak until the red is out. Add onions, peppers and garlic and salt and pepper and cover; simmer for 1/2 hour. Then add ketchup and some water over it. Watch so that it does not all boil away, adding water as needed. Cook covered for 1 hour. Serve with mashed potatoes, a vegetable and a salad. Yields 8 servings.
