VANILLA FUDGE 
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. cream
1 c. milk
4 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook slow, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil, then stir only occasionally. Bring to soft ball stage or 234 degrees on candy thermometer. Cool to 110 degrees without stirring. Then stir until it looses its gloss. Put in 9 x 9 inch pan. Don't give up on this candy. It takes about 3 hours from start to finish to make. But is excellent if you don't lose patience.
