APPLE DROP COOKIES 
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. finely chopped nuts
1 c. finely chopped, unpared apples (a sm. one)
1 c. chopped raisins
1/2 c. soft butter
1/3 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg, unbeaten
1/4 c. apple juice or cider

Preheat oven. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Sift dry ingredients together and stir in raisins, apples and nuts; set aside. In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and apple juice; beat until combined, then stir in flour mixture. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes until golden brown. Makes about 4 dozen.
