NOODLES ROMANO 
2 tbsp. butter or olive oil
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. dried basil

1 (8 oz.) pkg. light cream cheese, softened
1/8 tsp. pepper

Stir in and keep warm 2/3 cup boiling water. Cook in large amount of boiling salted water just until tender 10-12 oz. fettucini, linguini or spaghetti.

1 clove garlic
2 tbsp. butter

1/3 - 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Pour butter with garlic over noodles. Toss lightly and quickly to coat well. Sprinkle 1/4-1/3 cup of Parmesan and toss again. Place noodles in serving dish and cover with warm cream cheese mixture. Toss lightly to coat evenly (optional). Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan and garnish with parsley.
