SALAMI BREAD | |
2 loaves frozen white bread dough 8 oz. Italian salami 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese 2 eggs 1/4 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. garlic salt Thaw bread. Roll out 1 loaf as thin as possible. Beat together one egg, oregano, and garlic salt. Spread 3/4 egg mixture on dough then 1/2 the cheese and 1/2 of the salami. Roll up like cinnamon rolls, tucking ends as you roll. Place seam side down on greased jelly roll pan. Prick top with fork and spread rest of egg mixture on bread with fingers. Repeat with other loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes until deep golden brown. Yield: 2 loaves. |
