GRANDMA EYLER'S POT PIE 
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. shortening
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Milk
Beef or chicken broth

Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add shortening and egg and mix with fork. Then add enough milk to make a sticky dough. Roll out on a floured board and cut into 1-inch squares. Drop squares of dough into pot of boiling broth. Reduce heat and cook 20-30 minutes longer.
