OAT AND WHEAT PANCAKES | |
1 1/4 c. oats 2 c. skim milk 1 egg 1/2 c. all purpose flour 1/4 c. toasted wheat germ 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. baking powder 2 tsp. vegetable oil 1/2 tsp. salt Mix oats and 1 cup milk; let stand 10 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients until well mixed. For each pancake pour a scant 1/4 cup batter on hot well greased griddle over medium low heat. Cook, turning once, until well browned on both sides and cooked through. Makes 12 pancakes. |
