NO MIX CHERRY - PINEAPPLE - NUT
CAKE
 
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (in heavy syrup)
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 pkg. yellow (2 layer) cake mix
1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Spread pineapple with syrup evenly in bottom of pan. Spoon cherries over pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix over, then nuts. Cut butter into thin slices; place over ingredients in pan. Bake 50 minutes or until golden. Serve warm. Makes 12 servings.
