EASY RUSSIAN MEAT PIES 
1 lb. loaf frozen white bread dough
3/4 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 c. canned sweet sour red cabbage, drained
2 tbsp. dried parsley
3/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
Dairy sour cream

Thaw frozen bread dough according to package directions. In skillet, cook ground beef, onions, and garlic until meat is brown. Drain off excess fat. Stir in cabbage, parsley, salt and pepper. Set aside. Divide thawed bread dough evenly into 18 portions. On slightly floured surface roll each piece to a 4 inch circle.

Place about 1/4 cup of meat mixture onto half of each circle of dough. Fold other half over. Seal edges by pressing with fingers. Place sealed edge down on a greased baking sheet. Let rise covered in a warm place about 30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with sour cream. Makes 18.
