MISS DAISY BEEF CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 c. green pepper
1 (29 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1 c. diced celery
3/4 c. onion
1 c. cubed American cheese
1/2 c. green olives, chopped
1/2 c. black olives, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (6 oz.) pkg. egg noodles (uncooked)
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts; drained and sliced

Brown ground beef, pour off grease. Add celery, onion and green pepper, saute. Add tomatoes and juices and remaining ingredients, expect for cheddar cheese. Simmer for 20 minutes. Pour into 13 by 9 casserole dish. Spread cheddar cheese on top. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degrees oven. Divide the recipe into separate dishes and freeze one, for later.
