BUTTER PECAN TORTE 
1 c. crushed graham crackers
1 c. crushed soda crackers
1 stick butter, melted

For crust combine crackers and melted butter. Press into 1 13 x 9 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool before adding filling.

FILLING:

3 small pkgs. french vanilla pudding (instant)
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 gal. butter pecan ice cream
1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip or whipped cream

Combine pudding mix and milk. Fold in softened 1/2 gallon ice cream. Pour into pan over cooled crust. Refrigerate overnight. Top with whipped cream to serve.
