MORAVIAN CHRISTMAS COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. brandy
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs and brandy, beat thoroughly. Sift flour, salt and spices; add gradually to creamed mixture. Mix well. Cover and chill for several hours or overnight.

Roll out to 1/4 inch on floured board, cut with cookie cutters and decorate with colored sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes in 400 degree oven.
