MEXICAN COOKIES 
2 c. flour
2 sticks softened butter
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix ingredients together and knead like biscuits. Add pecans. Roll out in small balls and press flat. Place on greased cookie sheet and let stand 30 minutes. Cook at 350 degrees until cookies are brown.
