VENISON BARBECUE 
Good for steaks or chops. Sear about 3 pounds of venison in a frying pan with salt pork or some other fat.

In a saucepan mix:

1 c. catsup
3 slices lemon
1/3 c. beef steak sauce
1 tbsp. chili powder (if you want it hot)
1 tbsp. salt
1 thinly sliced onion
2 tbsp. tarragon vinegar (optional)
