LIGHTLY BARBECUED BEEF 
1 1/2 lb. beef round steak, cut in 1/4" strips
1/4 c. flour
1 c. thinly sliced carrots
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Toss beef and flour together in 3 quart casserole. Add remaining ingredients. Cover. Microwave at high 5 minutes.

Reduce power to 50% (medium). Microwave 35-40 minutes or until meat is tender, stirring after half the cooking time. Let stand covered, 10 minutes. Serve over rice or noodles.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
