PUMPKIN DATE NUT BREAD 
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. pumpkin
1/2 c. water
2 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2/3 c. dates, chopped
2/3 c. nuts, pecans chopped

Cream sugar and butter. Add water, eggs, and pumpkin. Mix dry ingredients and add; mix well. Add the nuts and dates.

Grease a large loaf pan and fill to one half. Bake at 225 degrees for 1 hour. This recipe will make 1 large or 2 small loaves.
