PUMPKIN NUT DATE BREAD 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. canned pumpkin
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans
1 pkg. dates

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Beat well pumpkin. Sift flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Add cinnamon, cut up dates and chopped pecans. Bake in regular loaf pans or other containers, greased at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with cream cheese, cheddar cheese or powdered sugar.
