GINGER BUNS | |
3 c. flour 2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. ginger 1 egg 3/4 c. shortening, melted 1 c. molasses 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. boiling water Sift flour, salt, soda and spices together; add egg, shortening, molasses and sugar. Mix thoroughly; add boiling water. Spoon in greased muffin tins. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cupcake paper liners may be used in muffin tins, if desired. Yield: 18 large or 25 medium buns. |
