4 c. sugar
1 c. Karo
1/3 c. water
4 c. peanuts
Pinch of salt

Melt together sugar, Karo and water. Add peanuts and salt. Cook to hard ball stage. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and a few drops of red food coloring and 1/2 cup milk. Beat until can be dropped in mounds.
